At last, it's publication day for 'Waiting for Something Better to Happen', and this time around, the process was slightly less scary - but only slightly! There was the same feeling of nervous anticipation as I tried to remember everything that went wrong the first time, and attempted to make sure that this one went more smoothly. However, there were certain things that I did this time that I didn't do last time, so that brought with it its own set of doubts and fears.
Still, the book is now real, and even though I noticed one glaring error straight away - a proofreading oversight, of course! - it looks the business, I think.
Now for the job of promoting it. Advance Orders were gratifying - but now comes the hardest graft ever: Promoting that difficult second book!
